When I first heard that newly opened shelter Wags and Walks was doing yoga with puppies, I signed up immediately.
Miriam and I put out our mats to what seemed like a normal yoga class. Then the puppies were let in and the room was filled with joy, high pitched "OMG's", and little paws running all around.
There was more cuddling happening than yoga, but all in all the shelter was able to raise over 2k in funds. This just goes to show that fundraising doesn't need to be stuffy and helping out animal shelters can be fun with just the right amount of creativeity.
I am hoping to add a fur baby to my world soon and who knows maybe he/she was a puppy yogi.
